That was built after I moved. Some of the Seattle yarn stores that get a lot of hype are really snobby and $$. I always loved going to Weaving Works. It's an interesting store with a little bit of everythign fibery...spinning, weaving, knitting and some more unique arts as well as lots of books and patterns. I haven't been in years and haven't seen their new store. I'm glad you had the time away with hubby...I think he should knit Jaywalkers at the Mariner's game...tell him he has my vote! Mom and I both have height issues, and because of it when we went to Mexico City a few years back we couldn't make it all the way to the top of the Pyramid of the Moon at Teotihuacan. We got really close to the top, but then the stairs got scary steep. Yikes. Another time we went to see a play and wound up in the 9th balcony up. We were so high up, the tops of the seats in front of us only came up to the level of our feet, and the stage seemed like it was straight down from there. We were literally gripping the armrests the whole time. I still haven’t made a Jaywalker, but I plan to someday.
