I think this looks ever so good already! And as for questioning yourself and your knitter's skills - even the best knitters go through these experiences, you know? Actually, I think the better and more skilled a knitter is, the more often it happens that they're not concentrating 100% on their work - and this just doesn't work, neither for us "normal" knitters nor for the heavily experienced ones. I too often find myself knitting away and as I always do it while the TV is on, there's often something on it that catches my attention - and woosh, a mistake has been done and frogging has to happen. It just is like that - I think this belongs to knitting just like... what? Snow belongs to winter or so ;)
Fact is that you shouldn't let yourself get frustrated with that. Once you have to frog - or rip everything altogether - you may find yourself thinking "I can't handle that, this is too complicated etc." What makes the difference is that you're fighting through, that you're not giving up and try it and try it again. And it WILL work - one day, sooner or later - and believe me, then you'll have this absolutely satisfied feeling that you stuck through it and didn't give up!!!

Looks good to me! I can't wait to see the full color palette.

Ripping and re-knitting doesn't make you any less of a knitter, by the way. It probably makes you more of one.
