That tree is gorgeous! I bet it is neat to see it go through the seasons. We do operation Christmas Child as well. We do one box for each child and had fun on Tuesday finding things in walmart. I had to have a long explanation before we went that we were not buying things for ourselves. I have them choose their own age/sex because then it is more fun for them and they are picking out something that a child that age probably really would like. They had a blast and were only disappointed that "their children" couldn't come home to our house! LOL

That really is a glorious tree . I have a birch tree in my backyard that touches my heart often when I look at it . It was planted by my father and brother when we bought this house . My brother passed away about 4 years later, but that tree is still here , despite taking a terrible beating during our awful icestorm in 1998 . We lost a cople of trees then but I'm so happy this one survived .
