it’s all about the journey…

Well, back to routine.  We had our first therapy session since November, I think.  The little imp actually did very well.  He hates to be corrected and when the therapist showed him that even though he had the right numbers there, his sister was not 81.  Oh my how he grumbled when she requested he write it again.

Hubby went with us today because it was snowing this morning and part of the road on the way to therapy is known to be bad even if everywhere else is fine.   We knew  the snow wasn’t supposed to last but who knew how long it would keep on until it realized it wasn’t really supposed to be serious.   Crazy weather these days.

This was after about 10 minutes of snow.  In another 10 minutes, it was all gone.  I think this is supposed to go on much of the week.  The road was just fine and we got the treat of having Daddy go to therapy with us.  We then went birthday shopping for big brother.

On the way up and back, I played a little with my new sock yarn.

I think I am going to frog at least part of it but I wanted to experiment a little and see what I came up with.

Hubby’s Fuzzy Feet are calling me from the bottom of the knitting bag, though, so I can’t play too long with the new yarn.  I owe him some kind of FO, it’s been a long time since he’s been the recipient of anything.  (who has?  I’ve been on the longest streak of UFOs ever!  but that will change)

LOL on your “snow”. (I’m in VT.)

Your 2 color work looks amazing. Great socks if that’s where the yarn ends up. I am socking it too with only more socks on the horizon.

The weather has been crazy for sure. One day it is 20…and the next…70!
It is too bad you said that you were going to FROG that sock you are working on. Wow, it looks great! Wish that I was brave enough to try some 2-color work!
I had to chuckle when you were talking about the therapy session…that brings back some memories of a student of mine and the OT at our school…ahhh…. :o)
    Have a good day.
