I love the memories. I have very similar ones from when I was a child and we spent summers in Rockport MA on the ocean with my grandparents. I had a very special aunt who would take me for a walk at night when the tide was low and we would walk what seemed forever to me…we would stop and get an ice cream and when I went to bed I could hear the ocean…such wonderful memories….thanks for sharing yours as it brought mine back to me
