Just a quickie tonight.  Today’s activities brought out the worship leader in the little imp.  He knows exactly what his dad does and is an excellent imitator.  He set up his microphone stand sans microphone.  He carefully laid out all the song sheets on the floor, exactly like dad.  He taped the song list on the stand (hubby explained to me that he lays his song sheet on a music stand and since the little imp did not have a stand, he did the next best thing….don’t tell me he isn’t a problem solver!).

He stepped to the mic and said, “Good morning!  Are you ready to worship?  Good…let’s get to it! 1…2…3…4!”

We are always amazed at the detail of his observations.  Once he imitated me washing my hair and he had details I had no idea I did…but after I watched him, I caught myself doing them…like how I shook the water off my hands and reached for the shampoo. 

He can watch a movie once and if he was really in to it, he can act it all out on the 2nd time he watches.  And amazingly, he has to stand the same direction they are standing so usually he has his back to the tv.

This past week he’s been bringing is mic along with a twenty foot chord to my house.. He unwraps it and has a little show every day to the Lincoln Brewster list on my Ipod. Then when he’s done he’ll wrap the chord up very nicely and put it all back in his back pack! He also writes his songlists and lays them out in front of him, including the band members.
It’s so funny how he catches every detail. He even had Allison and Tom on the list on Wednesday!
