Tonight I read a family’s story that has affected me to the point that I can’t really write.  I had to go hug the little imp and just cry for awhile.  I just want to say that in the light of what this couple is facing, I commend them for their choice to give their child the gift of life.  I am not sure how we can any of us can determine what quality of life is.  We have been blessed immeasurably by our little imp’s life and had we known before he was born that he had Down Syndrome, we would not have chosen to do anything differently.  Yes, there has been pain, but are we better for it?  I’d say so.  I have a lot to say, but I am really not able right now.
