it’s all about the journey…

was it a sign?

The other day we went for therapy for Tyler.  I have been so overloaded with so much to do and haven’t been doing a great job of getting things done.

It was a treat, though, that both girls decided to go along.

Actually, I should say all 3 girls came along.

We had such a fun time.  Someday I will link to the blog we have started for Tyler, we all contribute to it and the girls have some pretty funny insight.

I was a little concerned that Tyler would not cooperate well with the extra audience, but he did pretty well.  Both girls are really good at making him behave so showing off for them doesn’t really get him very far when he is supposed to be accomplishing something.

He does enjoy watching himself in the mirror, though.

This was a new thing…I don’t know what this stuff was called but it’s sticky and bumpy.  He had to make balls and throw them at the big blocks.  There was a day that he would never have touched anything like this, but he enjoyed it.  Progress!

We did a lot of other things but we’ve seen it all before on here so I’m not going to show it.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving.  We’re having a very small dinner…my mom, Ben and Brittany and us.  Everyone else has another direction to go.  I thought it was really sweet that Kyle wanted to make a dinner for Rhianna and himself.  He’s been studying making a turkey and got up this morning to make a pie before work!

The kids will all come over in the evening for dessert and draw names for Christmas.  They usually like to play games.  Should be fun and hopefully a relaxing day.

And the sign?

I have been kind of overwhelmed lately, what usually happens is that I start getting nothing done when I’m overwhelmed.  lol  (which makes me even more overwhelmed!)  Don’t worry, I’m laughing here.

What I usually try to do is keep a song in my heart even when life feels heavy.  Well, we got a huge kick out of this when we drove by it so we had to go back and get a picture.

So with that song in my heart, I will keep dancin’, too!  I love it and the visual will keep me smiling, too!

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

Very fun account of the day…. I have to say that I am like you in the sense that when I am overwhelmed, I don’t get anything done….arghh….
:) Oh well, Kyle keeps me in line. :)

As you perhaps know we don’t do Thanksgiving here in the UK, but have a lovely day.

Cute! Makes me think of Chris Tomlin’s “How Can I Keep From Singing”? song that I love, especially when it says “for I am loved by a King and it makes my heart want to sing!” I know that’s not dancing but having a song in your heart – well it flowed together in my mind! LOL

Fun to see your family therapy session and that little sweet pea is just getting cuter and cuter! :o )

Oh, I just love that sign! It really makes me feel good when I see someone is trying to spread good around. That’s a very clever way to do it!

I didn’t even remember it was Thanksgiving over there. I hope it went well!

I’m very much behind in my blog reading. I’ve been in such a hurry I hardly have time to knit any and blog reading falls behind knitting in urgency.

I felt bad that I didn’t translate my previous post for you. It had felt a bit stupid since the j-words were all in Finnish and they wouldn’t have been j-words if translated. Plus the post was long enough as it was. So sorry anyway!
