After 15 long months, I finished the treatment phase of breast cancer yesterday! Life is good and I am ready to move on as much as they will let me!
I had 27 weeks of chemo, surgery and have just completed 28 days of radiation. Everything has gone well, I had a complete response and will be having reconstruction perhaps in January. I am scheduled for that but there is a question whether I will be ready for it so it may be as late as next July. 
Life is good, I am so grateful for all the love and support I have received. My faith in God kept me strong and at peace and I have learned so much and have a new perspective on life.
I am not sure when I will be back here because now I have to adjust to life without doctors and appointments everywhere. I am still not knitting because this all really affected my fingernails. They are back and look fairly normal but they still don’t feel completely normal.
I just thought I’d better pop in and say hi and let you know all is well.

Sherri – praise the Lord! I am so glad to hear from you and to know you have come through the storm – When you figure out how to use all your newfound time
