I tell you, this has been a long journey.  I had to wait 6 months after radiation was complete before I could go on to the final step… reconstruction.  I had my first major surgery Jan. 10 and spent 5 days in the UofW Medical Center.  Now I am home recovering.  All went well but it is a long recovery.  I’m just happy it has started.  I will be thrilled to put the whole thing behind me.

I have been blogging a little on a new website:  new blog .  I’m sporadic but I’m all about no rules these days.   In other words, I am kinder to myself.  I’m all about exploring life from a new perspective.  The new blog is more about life and less about knitting since I haven’t been able to do that much even yet.

Life is good.
